All trails lead to Oregon, Illinois, and traveling by car is the easiest and most scenic way to get here. Oregon is 90 minutes from Chicago, one hour from Naperville and 30 minutes from Rockford. If you are coming from the south, the ride along Route 2 from Sterling rolls through beautiful Dixon and historic Grand Detour. From the north, resurgent Rockford offers so much to do, and the ride down Route 2 hugs the banks of the Rock River, making it one of Illinois’ prettiest rides.
